Aims to recruit all ex-SACGE members into the alumni and offer help and support to the current ensemble. The alumni, if strong enough, may have the opportunity to play in competitions and performances.

Hello hello hello!
Most of you may have received a notice about a gathering on the 23/12/10, but due to low response it have been postponed to 7/1/11, Friday! We will be having dinner, probably at around 6-7ish?
Location have yet to be confirmed! Do let me know if you guys have got any places to recommend! :)

Hello to those of you who're reading this. The Alumni Tshirts have long arrived, sorry for not contacting you guys because I'm currently very busy with school. Those of you who have ordered but not received your Tshirt can you PLEASE add me on MSN - sherz_me@hotmail.com or leave a tag on the blog with your email.
We'll probably work out a time where we can meet and I'll pass you the Tshirt. Sorry for the delay. Those who have collected the Tshirt PLEASE help me to inform the rest who've yet to collect. Because sometimes I'm unable to get into contact with the others. Thanks so much.

The first good news is... The Alumni Tees have arrived! Woooo~
For those of you who've paid, you can get your shirt immediately. For those who've not, you'll have to meet me to pay + get your shirt.
Next, the 2nd good news is... We'll be having an outing!

Hi all SACGE alumni members,
I'm Sherrill, the president of the SACGE Alumni Club. (:
I'm here to inform you that SAC GE will be participating in the 4th annual guitar ensemble competition, which will be held on 17th April 2010, Saturday at the Victoria Concert Hall. You are officially invited to join the SACGE in performing as an alumni member, to compete for the top prize ensemble. The top prize ensemble will receive $500cash as well as a trophy. We hope that those who are able to make time can join us in this, re-unite all the graduants of SACGE as well as to relieve those guitar ensemble memories! :) We will be competing against JCs and secondary schools.
Just a brief history of what the SACGE has fared in the recent years in this annual competition.
For the 1st annual competition in 2007, we came in 1st.
In 2008, we came in 4th.
In 2009, we came in 1st.
If you are keen to participating in this competition as an alumni member, please email me at sherz_me@hotmail.com. Alumni players would probably go back to SAC for rehearsals twice a month till the competition day. Please check your email for more details, if you did not receive the alumni email invite, please leave your name on the tagboard and I will get back to you very soon. :)
Even if you can't make it, reserve this day, you can buy tickets and watch the actual competition on that night! So we hope to see you there! :D
By the way, we have our very own alumni member, Tiffany Ning as one of the judges for this competition! :)

Thanks everyone for your co-operation in telling me your Tshirt sizes, and the orders are sent in already! Now all we have to do is wait for the Tshirt to be printed for collection! :)
Those of you who have not paid, you guys can do so through POSB Bank Transfer (read entry below) OR you can pass me the money on the day I pass you the shirt. We'd try to plan for a day whereby we would ALL meet together for a gathering and at the same time collect the Tshirt. The Tshirt would be ready by 26th December, so try to keep days along that week or so free to collect your shirt. :)
